Frequently asked questions

  • Yes, or a friend’s pool. Our program brings the service to you for a more personal and familiar setting for the child. This also gives the parents a chance to be comfortable in the privacy of their own home.

  • Of course you can! We always allow parents to observe class; but, we do ask that they not get involved unless asked. After a few classes, depending on the child, I will ask the parents to watch from a view where the child can not see you to form independence in the pool.

  • Your pool should be between 83-87 degrees for lessons. A child’s body temperature drops more quickly than an adult.

  • No way! The class is set up for parents to choose if they want to watch their child. Many parents are busy and need to do other household duties. There is never any judgement and we will ask if your assistance is needed.

  • Depending on the location there may be an additional cost to cover travel expenses.

  • No equipment needed but please bring a towel.

  • A comfortable swimsuit. If your child has long hair that can be tied back please do so.
